I can’t say enough good things about our archery elk hunt with G4Outfitters this past fall in 2023. It was better than advertised in every phase of the hunt. My friend Jeff Wood and I had hunted elk with our rifles before but this was the first time we had hunted elk with our archery equipment. Quint Gonzales, the owner of G4Outfitters, had told me that historically his past hunters had close to 100 percent opportunity on bull elk on his hunts.
He wasn’t lying because I had 3 opportunities at 300 inch bulls or bigger of which I hit a twig on the first opportunity and passed on a 300 inch bull on the second opportunity. On the 3rd day of the hunt I closed the deal on an awesome 320 bull. Jeff tipped over a 354 bull the first afternoon of the hunt and that set the tone for elk camp.

The atmosphere in the camp was awesome-the guides and Quint made you feel like you had been friends for years. The food was awesome and the guides knew the tendencies of the elk of which we were into elk every day including an elk buglefest the first day. Definitely the best big game hunt I have ever been on without a doubt. A huge thanks to my Iron Man guide Dusty Smith —you made it happen and you made it exciting and fun at the same time. Can’t wait to do it again guys!!

I am legally blind and do a lot of hunting. I went on an archery elk hunt with Quint Gonzales, owner of G4 Outfitters…what a hunt and experience. His crew knows the country and how to get around and are great to be with in camp. I heard a lot of bulls and did some great stalks. They’ve got great water holes to sit on and I killed a stud 7x7. I highly recommend G4 Outfitters.
